Terms of Use
The short version: Use Swirl to brew great coffee. Don't misuse it or try to reverse-engineer it. If something breaks, we'll do our best to fix it — but we can't guarantee perfection. These terms are governed by the Apple standard EULA, supplemented by the terms below.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Swirl, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Swirl is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition to these terms. In the event of any conflict, Apple's EULA takes precedence.
2. License
Swirl Coffee, Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Swirl for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Transfer your licence to another person
3. User content
Brew notes, ratings, and other data you enter into Swirl belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how that data is stored and handled.
4. Intellectual property
All content in Swirl — including the recipe library, design, code, and branding — is owned by Swirl Coffee, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. "Swirl" and the Swirl wordmark are trademarks of Swirl Coffee, Inc.
5. Disclaimers
Swirl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Recipe timings and pour targets are guides — your results will vary based on your equipment, beans, and technique.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swirl Coffee, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Swirl in the 12 months before the claim arose.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, notify you through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

One-time purchase. Swirl Pro is $4.99 — no recurring charges, no auto-renewal. Pay once, own it permanently.
Swirl Pro pricing
One-time purchase — $4.99, unlocks Pro permanently with no recurring charges.
Billing
Payment is charged once to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. There are no renewals and no recurring charges. You pay once and own Pro permanently.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. We do not process refunds ourselves.

Features included in Swirl Pro may change over time. We will notify you of any material reductions to Pro features before they take effect.
Free tier
Core Swirl features — the built-in recipe library, live step timer, brew logging, and bean tracking — are free and will remain free. Swirl Pro is an optional upgrade.
